  • A workshop series by parents… for parents…

    Posted on    Posted in BGSD

The School Council from École Leduc Junior High School has received an Innovation Grant from the 2014/15 Black Gold Regional Schools Innovation Fund in order to research, prepare and present a series of Parent Connection Workshops.

Designed by parents, for parents, the goal of these free workshops is to engage the parent community in a way that identifies and meets their needs, while supporting the teaching/learning environment of the school.

Each workshop allows participants to attend up to three breakout sessions. Presented by subject experts, the sessions will be interactive to encourage parents to make the connections they need to maximize the success of their children.

The first workshop, “The Road to High School & Beyond” will take place Thursday, February 26th, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm at École Leduc Junior High School (4412 – 48 Street, Leduc).
