The story of the ill-fated Shackleton Expedition is an incredible journey of courage and perseverance. The expedition failed its objective when it became trapped by pack ice in the Weddell Sea. Ernest Shackleton successfully sought help and his entire crew survived their ordeal. You will be using resources available through the Internet to complete a number of activities that will acquaint you with the members of the expedition and the events that took place.
