Black Gold Regional Schools > Departments > Student Services > Community Attachment Purpose

The CAP team works from a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach focused on promotion, prevention and early intervention with mental and physical health support for children, youth and their families integrated within a school-based setting.   The CAP team works to intentionally reach as many school youth with targeted and universal programs that de-stigmatize mental health support and build resiliency skills in a strength-based manner.   Our vision is to have students truly engaged in meaningful relationships with school staffs as well as community partners. We envision a future where all students have a sense of Community, Attachment and Purpose.

The CAP project is funded by Alberta Health Services in partnership with Alberta Education.
