2011 Healthy School Community Award

Congratulations to Leslie Daigneault from Ecole Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School, for receiving the 2011 Healthy
School Community Award. This award is an Alberta Government recognition program designed to celebrate the partners in school
communities that support the health of children and youth by promoting health and preventing disease. Leslie was nominated by
Brian Torrance for her ongoing leadership in school health, research, student leadership, student engagement, and after school activity programming.  Leslie received her award from the Minister of Education and the Minister of Health and Wellness in May 2011.
