Congratulations to Chris Peacocke, Principal at École Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School, who has received the Alberta Teachers’ Association’s Distinguished Leadership Award.

The award recognizes Alberta school administrators who have succeeded in providing high-quality learning opportunities for students and honours creative, innovative, and effective leadership.

The nomination for Peacocke highlighted his ability to connect with students, his focus on building relationships that benefit the entire school community, and his effective mentoring of staff.

Peacocke received the award May 24, 2019 in Edmonton.
