Following an overwhelming response to the survey on international field trips/travel survey conducted in the spring, the Board of Trustees for Black Gold Regional Division No. 18 has voted to reinstate international field trips/travel for students and staff, effective immediately.

The survey garnered more than 2000 responses, with 75% of participants indicating the Board should authorize international field trips/travel opportunities for Black Gold high school students.

While the Board may approve international field trips and travel, those opportunities will continue to be considered optional.  Parents/guardians will be able to choose whether their child participates in any international trip.
