Celebration of the Arts donations to benefit local high schools

The success of this spring’s Celebration of the Arts will be felt by Black Gold Regional Schools students in years to come.  Donations at the event, held in April, totalled more than $4,700 and will be distributed among the seven high schools in the Division:

  • Calmar Secondary
  • École Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School
  • John Maland High School
  • Leduc Composite High School
  • New Sarepta Community High School
  • Thorsby Junior/Senior High
  • Warburg School

The money will be used to help support arts programs in each of the high schools.

The 2018 edition of the Celebration of the Arts showcased the talents of approximately 300 Black Gold Regional Schools student-artists/performers and several teachers in music, theatre, photography, film and visual arts programs. It was the Division’s third Celebration of the Arts event.
