Dual-credit opportunities for high school students

Posted on    Posted in BGSD, General

Did you know? As part of our commitment to Inspire Success in our students, Black Gold School Division offers a program which provides a dual-credit opportunity to high school students. Through the program, students can earn college credits and high school credits by completing college-level coursework. There are over 30 courses available online through your local high school.

Our new partnership with SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) allows students to try a business management or healthcare course. Olds College has expanded its offerings in areas of agriculture, horticulture, and sports management.

Want to get a jump start on university or thinking of coming back to upgrade? Consider a university transfer course through Portage College – see what Black Gold students are saying about Introduction to Psychology and Sociology:

“I wanted to let you know that I loved the course.  It is extremely interesting and makes you think.”
