  • École Leduc Estates School temporarily moving to At-Home Learning

Posted on    Posted in At-Home Learning, BGSD, Featured, General, Leduc Family of Public Schools

    Dear Ecole Leduc Estates families,

Like us, many of you experienced a power outage last night. The disruption continues to affect our internet and phones today. Our service provider, FortisAlberta has told us that they will need to turn off the power for several hours on Monday, January 24 to undertake major repairs.

According to Fortis, there won’t be any power outages in the residential neighbourhoods surrounding Ecole Leduc Estates School (ELES); however, we have been informed that the school will be without electricity or internet for a large portion of the day.

Given this, the Division will be moving ELES students to at-home learning for the day (Monday, January 24). Please note that school buses will not be running to the school on Monday.

Later today, information will be sent to you from the school regarding your children’s schedule for Monday. Please keep an eye on your email inboxes.

Should things change, we will provide you with further updates. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this repair period.

    Sincerely,

    Black Gold School Division
