Did you know that March is Francophonie Month in Alberta? Francophonie Month is a favourite time of year particularly for our French Immersion schools, where wonderful traditions are held in celebration of the French culture and language. French and English students alike are able to learn about and embrace Francophone heritage.

“In addition to espousing both of Canada’s official languages, Black Gold is proud to offer French Immersion programming,” said Board of Trustees Chair Devonna Klaassen. “We recognize the many benefits of learning more than one language for cognitive functioning, overall learning, as well as personal and professional opportunity.”
