  • West Haven Public School becomes LEED-certified

    West Haven Public School has been recognized for its excellence in sustainable design, construction, and operation. The facility has received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) silver certification. LEED is a ratings system which recognizes excellence in green building in 160 countries.

     

    West Haven Public School officially opened its doors on September 1, 2016. It is the third facility in Black Gold Regional Division No. 18 to receive LEED certification. Calmar Elementary School and Ècole Dansereau Meadows School are also LEED-certified.
