Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching DIV I is considered an asset
  • A background in the Science of Reading and UFLI is an asset
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, stakeholders, and the community 
  • Provide inspiring teaching and learning for every student, including students with special needs 
  • Ability to apply multiple modes of instruction to enhance student learning and achievement 
  • A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible with the demands of the job 
  • Knowledge and ability to engage students in a digital world 
  • A strong work ethic and a personal commitment to working in a Professional Learning Community
  • A belief that staff, students, and parents must work together to develop and maintain a positive and productive teaching/learning environment
