Transportation Fee Refunds

Refunds are not issued after the first day of school, except in the following situations:

Student Leaves the Division

  • A prorated refund will be issued based on the number of unused months of transportation service

New Student Registers After the School Year Begins

  • If the student is new to the Division, transportation fees will be prorated based on the student's start date

The following situations do not qualify for a refund:

  • A student changes schools within the Division
  • A family moves within the Division
  • Transportation service is no longer required
  • A student chooses not to use transportation services

📌 Please note:

Refunds cannot be issued if there are outstanding fees on a student's account.

For students who remain enrolled in the Division, refund amounts are typically left as overpayments in PowerSchool unless a refund is specifically requested.

Black Gold School Division provides full-year transportation service only. Part-time, temporary, and winter-only transportation options are not available. All transportation fees are based on full-year service.
