Platform

I am running to serve as Trustee because I believe that every child deserves access to high-quality education, safe schools, and opportunities to reach their full potential. As a seasoned professional, I bring both passion and wisdom to this role, grounded in decades of leadership, governance, and a deep commitment to community.

Educational Leadership – PhD in Engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston, ON.

Proven Governance – Council Member, University of Liverpool (UK), and extensive service on community boards.
National Expertise – Former Regional Director, National Research Council of Canada, advancing innovation and education across our country.
Community Commitment – Dedicated to listening to families, supporting teachers, and ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources.

As your Trustee for Ward 4, I will:

  • Put students first, ensuring every decision supports their success.
  • Support teachers and staff with the resources they need to thrive.
  • Champion inclusive, safe, and future-ready schools that reflect community values.
  • Support Mental Health for students, teachers, and staff.
  • Explore sustainable funding models to ensure School Playgrounds can be upgraded and modernized to meet the ongoing student needs.

Together, we can build bright futures for our children.
