Transportation Application and Payment Instructions

Eligibility

  • Transportation is available only for students within the Calmar attendance boundary.
  • Students who live in the Calmar boundary are considered Eligible Students.

Registration

  • Students must register directly with Black Gold School Division’s Transportation Department.
  • Registration is required every school year.
  • A separate application must be submitted for each student requiring busing.
  • 2025–2026 registration: use the link below.
  • 2026–2027 registration opens in early May 2026; the new link will appear here at that time.
  • All applications are subject to approval by the Transportation Department.

Fees & Payment

  • Fees are paid directly to New Humble Community School, unless you also have a child attending a Black Gold School Division school.
  • If you qualify for the family rate (three or more children) and at least one child is registered at a Black Gold school, you may be able to pay through PowerSchool.

Next Steps After Submitting Your Application

  1. Log into your Bus Planner Parent Portal and add your child using their student ID. (Email transportation@blackgold.ca if you don’t have it.)
  2. Check Bus Planner regularly for pick-up and drop-off information.
  3. Download the Bus Status 4 app. Star your child’s bus and turn on notifications for real-time updates.
