Bio
I grew up here, and now, my husband and I have proudly raised our sons here. All three graduated from Beaumont schools. Today, they’re each building their own path — one as a millwright, one as a heavy duty mechanic, and one as an entrepreneur.
Community involvement has always been part of our family’s life. My husband and I have either coached, managed, and/or volunteered on boards while supporting our boys through hockey, baseball, and lacrosse.
I grew up on a farm east of Beaumont, where I developed a deep appreciation for hard work, connection, and community. This foundation continues to guide me today.
When I’m not connecting with families or supporting our schools, you’ll find me enjoying time on our acreage — gardening, cutting grass, or walking our dog across our tranquil 70 acres.
I believe that strong schools build strong communities. I’m passionate about ensuring every student in Ward 4 has the resources, opportunities, and encouragement to succeed. I would bring a collaborative, community-focused voice to the Black Gold School Division Board. I would be honoured to earn your vote as your next Black Gold School Trustee.

Safe Classrooms for All Students
Every child deserves to walk into school each day knowing they are safe, valued, and supported. Learning can only take place when students feel secure and respected. As trustee, I will work to ensure our classrooms are welcoming spaces where diversity is celebrated and every student is free to learn without fear. This means strengthening policies to prevent and address bullying, providing resources to support mental health, and ensuring that teachers and staff have the tools they need to nurture student well-being. When students feel safe, they are empowered to thrive both academically and personally.
Accountability and Listening to Parents & the Community
Strong schools are built on trust and open communication. I am committed to serving with accountability, transparency, and integrity. Parents, families, staff, and community members all play a critical role in shaping the success of our schools, and their voices must be heard at the board table. By listening actively and engaging meaningfully, I will ensure that decisions reflect the needs and priorities of our communities. Families deserve a trustee who is approachable and who will work collaboratively to find solutions that put students first.
Advocating for Student Success at Every Grade Level
From kindergarten through graduation, every student should have the opportunity to reach their full potential. I will advocate for strong support and equitable resources at every stage of learning. This includes literacy and numeracy programs in the early years, engaging options in the middle grades, and pathways that prepare students for success in high school and beyond—whether that means post-secondary education, trades, or entering the workforce. By supporting teachers and staff with the right tools and programs, we can ensure that no student falls through the cracks and that all learners are prepared for the future.
A Voice for Students, Families & Educators
I believe strong schools build strong communities. As trustee, I will bring a collaborative, community-focused voice to the Black Gold School Division Board, always advocating for the needs of students, families, and educators in Ward 4. I am passionate about ensuring every student has the resources, opportunities, and encouragement they need to succeed. With your support, I would be honoured to represent our community and to earn your vote as School Trustee. Together, we can build safe, strong, and successful schools for every child.
