Teaching Assignment:
Junior High English Language Arts & Social Studies. May include additional Jr. High-level courses as assigned by the Principal
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Experience & training in Junior High Humanities
- A positive attitude and a desire to provide differentiated and engaging learning experiences for students
- Knowledge and ability to help all students succeed
- A personal commitment to life-long learning
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a grade level team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
- Work collaboratively and build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, stakeholders, and community
- Strong work ethic
- Knowledge of the new Social Studies curriculum would be an asset
