Teaching Assignment:

Junior High English Language Arts & Social Studies. May include additional Jr. High-level courses as assigned by the Principal

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Experience & training in Junior High Humanities
  • A positive attitude and a desire to provide differentiated and engaging learning experiences for students
  • Knowledge and ability to help all students succeed
  • A personal commitment to life-long learning
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a grade level team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
  • Work collaboratively and build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, stakeholders, and community
  • Strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of the new Social Studies curriculum would be an asset
