IT Technician - Technology, Division Office
Working in a team environment, this position provides computer support to schools in the Black Gold School Division located immediately south of Edmonton. Your focus will be to deliver remote and on-site support of desktop applications and operating systems, workstation setup, and first-level network support. You will also perform system backups, provide assistance with peripherals, and ensure technology standards are implemented and documented as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A combination of solid technical skills in Windows, ChromeOS, and Google Apps, excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage multiple tasks, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work independently in various school settings
- Training in a related program of studies at a recognized post-secondary institution and/or recognized computer industry training
- Valid driver’s license and current driver’s abstract are required (mileage is reimbursed)
Hours & Compensation
- Start date: to be determined
- Pay Level 6: $64,714 - $84, 593 commensurate with experience
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day
- Benefits available through ASEBP
