Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Numeracy, Literacy and Visible Learning background is an asset
  • Experience or training working with students with diverse learning needs, and the ability to implement appropriate individualized programs in an inclusive classroom
  • Ability to work independently and in cooperation with learning support teacher, paraprofessionals, and school administration in the delivery of instruction and care to all students
  • A positive attitude and a desire to provide developmentally appropriate, play-based, engaging and hands-on learning experiences for students
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills, and the ability to build relationships with everyone in the school community – a highly collaborative team player
  • A strong work ethic and a personal commitment to working in a Professional Learning Community
