Teaching Assignment:
Grade 5 French Immersion
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- University training or experience in elementary French Immersion
- Fluent in both French and English both written and verbal
- Experience supporting literacy and numeracy development
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
- Experience or training working with students with diverse learning needs, and the ability to implement Instructional Support & Behaviour plans for students and implementing individualized programs in an inclusive classroom
- Knowledge and experience with the new K-6 curriculum
- Ability to work independently and in cooperation with learning support teacher, paraprofessionals & school administration in the delivery of instruction and care to all students
- Proficient with technology
