Junior High Teacher - École J.E. Lapointe School
Teaching Assignment:
Math 7, LA 8, Health 7, 8, 9, CTF 7, Learning Support 7-9; may include additional junior high level courses as assigned by the Principal.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Degree in secondary education
- Experience in teaching in grades 7-9
- A positive attitude and a desire to provide differentiated and engaging learning experience for students
- Knowledge and ability to help all students succeed
- A personal commitment to life-long learning
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a grade level team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, stakeholders and community
Asset Qualifications
- Experience working with and implementing Instructional Support (ISP) & Behaviour plans for students
