Teaching Assignment:

Math 7, LA 8, Health 7, 8, 9, CTF 7, Learning Support 7-9; may include additional junior high level courses as assigned by the Principal.


Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Degree in secondary education
  • Experience in teaching in grades 7-9
  • A positive attitude and a desire to provide differentiated and engaging learning experience for students
  • Knowledge and ability to help all students succeed
  • A personal commitment to life-long learning
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a grade level team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, stakeholders and community

Asset Qualifications

  • Experience working with and implementing Instructional Support (ISP) & Behaviour plans for students
