Elementary and Jr. High Literacy Summer School Boost Camp

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

This position runs at École Champs Valleé School. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a Literacy Boost Camp designed to support Elementary and Jr. High students in strengthening foundational skills and building confidence. The Elementary camp is intended for students who have completed grade 3, 4, or 5. The Jr. High camp is intended for students who have completed grade 6, 7, or 8. Both camps are designed for students who would benefit from additional support in literacy.

• Certified teacher with a valid teaching certificate
• Minimum of five years of teaching experience
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based instructional strategies for literacy and numeracy development
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and intervention strategies
• Experience working with diverse learners, including students with learning needs and English language learners
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• This position pays 50 hours on the Black Gold salary grid
