Education Assistant - École Leduc Estates School
Duties:
- Provide academic, emotional and social support and assistance to elementary-aged students, on an individual and/or small group basis in an inclusive environment
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students
- Other duties as assigned by school administration
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Ability to speak, read and write in French is an asset
- Education Assistant certificate/diploma is an asset
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention & Positive Behaviour Training are assets
- Ability and willingness to perform a variety of tasks with students having diverse needs
- Ability to problem solve and engage in conflict resolution strategies with children
Hours & Compensation
- Position term: August 25, 2026 - June 28, 2027
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday (to be determined)
- Salary and benefits according to current C.U.P.E. Collective Agreement
