Internal Competition


Duties:

  • Work with the teacher to support and participate in the physical education activities
  • Provide support to students with accommodations
  • Work with students Grade 10-12, who have a variety of learning needs and/or behavioural needs
  • Support teaching staff supervising activities and assist them to complete their activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by school administration

Qualifications:

  • Ability and willingness to perform a variety of physical activities with students following the direction of the classroom teacher. Activities include, but are not limited to; walking, hiking, yoga, biking, golf, tennis, dance, and a variety of team sports
  • Experience supporting students in a high school setting is an asset
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and/or Positive Behaviour training is an asset
  • Ability and willingness to perform a variety of tasks with students following the directions of the classroom teacher
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in cooperation with classroom teachers under the supervision of a school administrator

Hours & Compensation

  • Position term: June 29, 2026 - July 10, 2026
  • Hours of work: 35 hours per week at École Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School
  • Salary and benefits according to current C.U.P.E. Collective Agreement
