Teaching Assignment:

Grade 1-6

Qualifications:

  • Special Education degree preferred NVCI training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working with diverse learners is required
  • Ability to create and implement Individualized Support Plans (ISPs)
  • Experience with Ed Forms is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to plan interactive lessons for hands-on learning environments
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to meet shifting programming needs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Programming approach grounded in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Capable of working within a large collaborative team, while exercising independent initiative as needed
  • Ability to model activities for both learners and staff
