Education Assistant - Linsford Park School
Duties:
- Work effectively both independently and as part of the school team;
- Perform diverse tasks under the classroom teacher's direction;
- Adapt flexibly to changing daily routines; Support students within an inclusive environment;
- Embrace new challenges, receive feedback, and learn new strategies;
- Supervise students both indoors and outdoors;
- Other duties as assigned by the principal.
Qualifications:
- EA certificate/diploma (preferred) and NVCI training (required);
- Experience with complex needs and an understanding of non-verbal communication supports;
- Work effectively both independently and as a collaborative school team member;
- Approach grounded in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS);
- Ability to implement ISP strategies.
Hours & Compensation
- Position term: September 11, 2026 - March 19, 2027
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday
- Salary and benefits according to current C.U.P.E. Collective Agreement
