Teaching Assignment:

Physical Education

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching DIV I and DIV II is considered an asset.
  • Design and deliver engaging physical education lessons that promote motor skill development, fitness, cooperation, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate students of all skill levels, physical abilities, and learning styles, ensuring a safe, supportive, and active environment for everyone.
  • Establish clear behavioral expectations, safety routines, and positive reinforcement strategies in gym, outdoor, and classroom settings.
  • Evaluate student growth in physical skills, effort, and sportsmanship; provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate student records.
  • Partner with classroom teachers, administration, and parents to support student wellness and participate in staff meetings and professional development.
