KE Math/In-Reach Teacher - Riverview Middle School

 Riverview Middle School is a proud member of Black Gold School Division. Our mission at RMS is to create a dynamic learning community which celebrates the uniqueness of each of our 333 students in grades 5-9, provides them with life-long learning skills and empowers them to become knowledgeable, caring, responsible and contributing citizens. We are also home to the Northern Xtreme Academy.

Contract Term:

October 19, 2026 - June 29, 2027

Teaching Assignment:

KE Math 8 & 9 as well as supporting a small number of students in our In-Reach program with core subjects.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Experience teaching Math is an asset, particularly in K&E Math
• Experience implementing numeracy interventions
• Be highly organized, systematic, and detail-oriented, particularly when managing students working at different points in different modules or courses
• An ability to design and implement differentiated instruction and individualized learning based on students’ needs
• A student-centered approach to instruction and teacher-student relationships
• Effective organizational and classroom management skills
• An ability to establish productive relationships with parents
