Education Assistant - École Beau Meadow School
Duties:
- Provide academic, emotional and social support and assistance to elementary-aged students, on an individual and/or small group basis in an inclusive environment
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students
- Other duties as assigned by school administration
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and ASD training is an asset
- Ability to work effectively with children with challenging behaviours and learning disabilities;
- An appreciation of Inclusion and Diversity;
- Willingness to assist with feeding, changing and toileting;
- Willingness to supervise both indoors and outdoors
- Requires mobility and physical activity
Hours & Compensation
- Position term: August 31, 2026 - June 25, 2027
- Hours of work: TBD
- Salary and benefits according to current C.U.P.E. Collective Agreement
