Duties:

  • Provide academic, emotional and social support and assistance to elementary-aged students, on an individual and/or small group basis in an inclusive environment
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students
  • Other duties as assigned by school administration

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and ASD training is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively with children with challenging behaviours and learning disabilities;
  • An appreciation of Inclusion and Diversity;
  • Willingness to assist with feeding, changing and toileting;
  • Willingness to supervise both indoors and outdoors
  • Requires mobility and physical activity

Hours & Compensation

  • Position term: August 31, 2026 - June 25, 2027
  • Hours of work: TBD
  • Salary and benefits according to current C.U.P.E. Collective Agreement
