Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Training in primary education is an asset
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to plan for a multi-level classroom
  • Desire to provide developmentally appropriate, play-based, engaging, and hands-on inclusive learning experiences for students
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in a diverse learning environment
  • Ability to work with students with a variety of complex and/or behavioural needs, and the ability to create and implement appropriate individualized programs
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with families and Black Gold personnel including: Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and classroom support staff
