The nominees for this year’s Inspiring Success Award of Distinction include École Corinthia Park School (ECPS) Educational Assistant, Amber Urlacher.

Amber brings a considered and thoughtful approach to leadership and an equal willingness to learn. Her honesty, friendly, and considerate nature makes her a natural leader. She always sees the good side of people and encourages other staff members to do the same.

Amber consistently finds ways to help her co-workers and other classrooms throughout the day. Her willingness to assist others and her commitment to the ECPS program is incredible.

“In my years of experience working in the classroom, Amber’s knowledge of early education is exemplary,” said one nominator, Lia Chernenkoff. “She loves to share her knowledge with new and current staff. In the past year, we’ve experienced many changes that affected our team, before I could even ask Amber, she created visual schedules and plans to support the changes.”

Amber inspires success in students by following their lead. She builds relationships by playing with students and creating silly fun games. She takes the time to listen to students and creates a safe and loving environment for them. ECPS’s early education classroom is composed of students with complex needs. Amber can embrace all students and shows patience when most needed.
