Trustee Klaassen connects with her community

Black Gold Trustee Devonna Klaassen was one of the guests at a recent “State of the Town” event in Devon.

With three schools in Devon, Black Gold School Division is a key part of the community.

Trustee Klaassen represented the Division, and was pleased to hear about growth in the community, as well as community feedback that indicates that residents are happy to live in the community. 


Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
