Update Regarding ATA Labour Action - September 29

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This evening, the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) voted to reject the proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MoA). This decision means that the anticipated strike action, scheduled to commence on October 6th, remains in effect. We want to assure you that classes will proceed as scheduled from Wednesday, October 1, to Friday, October 3. We recognize that this will be difficult on students, parents, and the community, and commit to providing as much information as possible. 

Please be advised that schools will be closed to students and families on October 6th and will remain so until teachers return to work.
