Virtual reality has arrived in Black Gold classrooms
Virtual reality is coming to Black Gold classrooms! Students at Leduc Estates tried out new VR goggles recently... having a chance to explore pyramids, hieroglyphics and tombs in ancient Egypt, in a 360-degree environment.
The VR googles are new to Black Gold - and are some of the first in the province. Teachers can access more than 300,000 curated VR resources for students from Grade 1 to 12. Some of the VR environments will even help students explore career options. Also, there are STEM models and immersive wildlife videos and more.
The set of 16 googles will be shared between all of Black Gold's schools.
