On June 10, 2024, the students of École Bellevue School were treated to a Bollywood performance by fellow students.

“I wanted to share my culture with my school,” said Harsirat, the founder of the Bellview Bollywood Dance Troupe. “I thought this assembly would be a great way to share my family’s history. Our group has been practising for weeks.”

In addition, students got to watch the Bolly Wheels Dance Troupe from the University of Alberta. The group excels in all categories of Bollywood dance. Driven by a passion for promoting inclusivity and diversity, Bolly Wheels infuses the vibrant energy of Bollywood with a dedicated mission to make dance accessible to everyone!

“A very special thank you to Bolly Wheels for coming out to our school today to participate as well,” added Principal Jennifer El-Khatib. “You were a great inspiration and we truly appreciate you taking the time to come to our school.”
