Attention parents and guardians of preschoolers! Schools within the Black Gold School Division (BGSD) are now accepting intake applications for the 2025-2026 Early Intervention Pre-Kindergarten (EI Pre-K) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) Junior Kindergarten programs. With limited spots available, families are encouraged to act quickly to secure a place for their children.

Early Intervention Pre-Kindergarten

The EI Pre-K program is designed for preschoolers who may face challenges such as following directions, communication issues, anxiety, or developmental delays. Early intervention is crucial for fostering academic, social, and emotional growth. This program begins accepting children as young as 2 years and 8 months.

English as an Additional Language Junior Kindergarten

The English as an Additional Language Junior Kindergarten (EAL Junior K) program offers early language intervention for children as young as 3 years and 8 months. This program is excellent for children whose at-home language is not English, and who struggle with learning language-related skills.

Parents are invited to apply for a free screening to determine if their child qualifies for either program. This is an invaluable opportunity to invest in your child's development and help them overcome any challenges they may face.

For further information, interested families can visit our Pre-Kindergarten program page or reach out directly to Early Childhood Services Consultant Rebecca Aiken at [email protected].

Spread the word and share this important information with neighbors and friends who have young children. Early intervention can make a significant difference in a child's life, so don’t miss out on this chance to help your little ones thrive!
