26.05.27 WPS Community Pancake Breakfast EDITED 008

Willow Park School recently held their Annual Community Pancake Breakfast, bringing students, staff, families, and community members together for a delicious start to the day.

Breakfast was open to the entire Willow Park community, strengthening the connection between the school and the neighbourhood through pancakes, fruit skewers, juice boxes, and coffee.

We are so thankful for the involvement of our Leduc and Willow Park community,” says school principal Greg Luchak, This is our small way of giving back to them for all they do for us.

Black Gold School Division Trustees Angie Charpentier and Barb Martinson helped hand out food alongside school staff. Other community partners, including the School Resource Officer (SRO) and Black Gold School Division Senior Administration, also stopped by to enjoy a meal and connect with students, staff, and local residents.

It was a pleasure to join the Willow Park School Community as it once again served pancakes to parents, students, and the rest of the neighbourhood, says Associate Superintendent Ray Cable, it’s always nice to be able to celebrate the communities that help prop up our schools, and what better way to celebrate than with pancakes?

Students, staff and the community are already getting excited about next year’s Annual Pancake Breakfast!
