“As this week is Substitute Teachers’ Appreciation Week, we want to send a very special thank-you and acknowledgement to all Black Gold Substitute Teachers!

This week – and every week – we are grateful for your dedication to our students and our schools. The role of the substitute teacher may be different from that of the regular teacher in some aspects, but it is equally demanding, equally essential and equally professional. Your skilled ability to ensure continuity of quality education in the absence of the regular classroom teachers makes you integral members of the Black Gold family.

Once again, this year has had layer upon layer of added challenges and stressors. Thank you for all you do to inspire success for our students! Also, a big shout-out to all our other substitute and casual staff as well … we couldn’t do this without you!”
