Black Gold Regional Schools

Thirteen class sets of netbooks have been allocated to individual teachers in various schools throughout BGRS on a fulltime basis as we continue to investigate different models of access for students.

Black Gold Regional Schools received $1,350,802 from the Provincial government as part of their commitment to restore funding levels to local school boards. Black Gold put together a comprehensive plan which acknowledges the Minister's commitment to: build capacity; recognize the importance of collaboration and move us to an inclusive education system. The Board of Education of Black Gold Regional Schools is pleased to announce the name of the new public Beaumont school, École Dansereau Meadows School. The new school is expected to open in September of 2014. École Dansereau Meadows School will be constructed in the northwest quadrant of Beaumont, on land previously owned by the Dansereau Family.
