The official results of the 2021 School Board Election are now in! The Black Gold School Division is pleased to congratulate and welcome all newly elected and re-elected trustees, who will help to guide the school community on matters relating to education for the next four years.

The 2021-2025 Black Gold School Division Board of Trustees are (see above: L-R in alphabetical order) Angie Charpentier, Barb Martinson, Devonna Klaassen, Esther Eckert, Gary Hansen, Michelle Martin, and Robyn Steed.

“I am fortunate to be working with a mix of experienced and fresh individuals who have committed themselves to helping the Division continue its mission To Inspire Success,” said Superintendent of Schools Bill Romanchuk. “I look forward to working closely with all of the trustees as they grow together to build what will surely be an engaged and effective governance team.”

The Division’s Organizational Board Meeting and Trustee Swearing-in Ceremony will take place on October 27 at 9 a.m., followed by a virtual Regular Board Meeting at 1 p.m.. Members of the media and the public are welcome to view the live proceedings on our YouTube channel.
