It is with mixed emotions that I serve my official notice that I will be retiring at the end of the 2018-2019 school year. After nearly four decades in public education, it is time to look forward to a new chapter in my life.

For the last 18 years, I have had the privilege of leading a team that is dedicated to providing the highest quality education to our students. I am proud of what we, in Black Gold, have accomplished together to ensure our schools are welcoming and student-focused.

As I reflect on my time with BGRD, I will remember the smiling faces of students and the amazing staff I have had the privilege of working with. I am extremely honoured to be your Superintendent.

I want to thank everyone involved in making our school communities the “Dream Division” – staff, students, parents, community partners. I am proud to work with all of you.  Thank you and I look forward to another year of working with you as I transition towards retirement this 2018-2019 school year!
