Please join us in congratulating Robina Baker Elementary School (RBES) Principal Jared Coffin, who has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 Council for School Leadership Distinguished Leadership Award! He was co-nominated for the award by RBES Assistant Principal Danielle Kirton and Associate Superintendent Calvin Monty.

“We are very proud of Jared’s accomplishments as a principal,” said Associate Superintendent Monty. “His exceptional leadership qualities and his genuine concern for both his students and staff are a shining example to administrators across our province.”

The ATA’s award program annually recognizes outstanding principals, assistant principals, and school jurisdiction leaders who have succeeded in providing high quality learning opportunities for students, and demonstrated excellence in reflecting the Leadership Quality Standard Competencies as outlined in the Alberta Leadership Quality Standard.

“I am truly honoured to receive this recognition,” said Principal Coffin. “I am very lucky to have an incredible team here at Robina Baker, and this recognition would not be possible without all of them.”

“We strive each day to support our entire learning community,” he added. “Robina Baker is a very special place, and I feel so fortunate to be a part of this school family.”

The CSL Distinguished Leadership Award recipients receive a plaque of recognition and are honoured at a special dinner and ceremony in Edmonton on June 7, 2024.
