Parents/guardians of students in grades 4, 7 and 10 are reminded that the deadline to complete the Alberta Education Assurance Survey online or return the paper copy has been extended to Wednesday, April 28.

Please read the letter from the Minister of Education and access the survey at https://public.education.alberta.ca/APOS/

You will need to input your 8-digit Random Access Code found in the package that Alberta Education mailed to you beginning on March 25, 2021. The Random Access Code is located in the upper right corner of the tear-away portion of your survey form.

If you have more than one student for whom you need to respond, please use a different code for each child.

Parents/guardians needing to replace their Random Access Code can contact System Assurance Branch at EDC.SystemAssurance@gov.ab.ca with the following information: grade of student, school name, school authority name (if known).

The Assurance Survey replaces the former Accountability Survey. Alberta Education needs to know what is working well and where there is room for improvement.

The results of the survey will give everyone important information and evidence about the quality of your child’s education.
