Watch as the Winspear Centre comes alive with a Celebration of the Arts featuring music, theatre, photography, film and visual arts, performed and created by outstanding students-artists, participating in one of several exceptional Arts Programs in the Black Gold Regional Schools.
Black Gold Regional Schools invites the public to attend their second Celebration of the Arts on Friday, May 8, 2015. In 2012, the first Celebration of the Arts was hosted and this year’s planning committee is hopeful that this year’s event will be a greater success than the last. The goal of the event is to cultivate, celebrate and elevate the creative spirit of Black Gold Regional Schools.
All high schools within the Black Gold Regional Division No. 18 (BGRD) are participating in this unique student-focused learning experience, which provides the student-artists an opportunity to showcase their skills in an elevated setting.
Advanced $12.00 general admission tickets may be purchased from all BGRD High Schools (Black Gold Outreach, Calmar Secondary School, École Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School, John Maland High School, Leduc Composite High School, New Sarepta Community High School, Thorsby Junior/Senior High School, Warburg School). Tickets will also be available at the door.
