Attention Black Gold parents/guardians:

For the 2021-2022 school year, Black Gold School Division will continue to offer two different learning experiences: In-school Learning or Distance Learning, with certificated teachers providing direct instruction to students.

To help us plan for the staffing, resources, and programming needed for both learning options, we are asking parents/guardians to declare their intentions for their child’s Choice of Learning for September 2021.

Starting at noon on March 31, parents/guardians can sign into their PowerSchool Parent Portal to complete the declaration. Families have until noon on April 8, 2021, to indicate their choice of learning experience for each of their children.

The ongoing pandemic restrictions are taking a toll on everyone. We have added three questions to the declaration so that you can tell us how you feel your children are coping. Your responses will help us plan for the appropriate supports and programs needed for students this fall.

An email confirming your selection will be sent in August. Please note that a process will be in place to update your selection if your circumstances change.
