Black Gold’s Mental Health Capacity Building (MHCB) Team is offering a number of free online virtual summer camps to children and youth in Leduc and surrounding communities that began June 22nd. The MHCB camps are designed to promote activities focused on the prevention and promotion of mental health through a variety of self developed and evidence based programs. The virtual camps promote empowerment, resilience, social emotional development, self awareness, creativity self expression and a whole lot of FUN! Each camp meets once or twice a week over two to four weeks. We are so excited to kick off the first year of MHCB summer programs in the BGSD and can’t wait to meet everyone!
