Black Gold Regional Division No. 18 and Leduc County have partnered once again to defend their 2016 Master Builder Champion title in the CanBuildIt – Leduc & District Food Bank contest.

Together the group has built a school bus out of food bank donations. As part of the CanBuildIt contest, the two groups encouraged their staff members to donate food, cash or supply tools for schools. All of the donations collected will go to support the Leduc & District Food Bank which serves the communities of Beaumont, Calmar, Devon, Leduc, Leduc County, New Sarepta, Nisku, Thorsby and Warburg.

On April 8, 2017 Blackjacks Roadhouse will host a CanBuildIt Gala where all participating organization’s creations will be displayed in a slide show. The Champions of each category will be announced as well as a Champion Fan Favourite.
